While my journey at Bourbon was indeed impactful, it's essential to highlight certain challenges, especially in terms of career advancement: Limited Upward Mobility at Managerial Levels: The progression from an assistant Operations manager to Operations Manager took ten months, which, in itself, was reasonable. However, the subsequent promotion to Contract Manager required an additional eleven years. The pace of upward movement at the managerial level seemed to stall, indicating a challenge in swift career progression. Stagnation in Upper Echelons: The managerial tier upwards appears to face stagnation in terms of promotional opportunities. This is attributed to factors like the extended tenures of higher-level managers or limited flexibility to transfer to other affiliates within the organization. Frustration Due to Limited Opportunities: The slow pace of promotions at higher levels can lead to frustration, especially when individuals are eager to take on more challenging roles and contribute to the organization's growth. It's essential to consider these aspects as potential challenges, acknowledging that individual experiences may vary within the organization.
