Pros

- BS+Co. focuses on serving companies first and foremost. - The company is full of passionate, high performers. - BS+Co. has a unique culture of encouragement and gratitude. - Exceptional growth potential for each member of the team. - Zero micromanagement.

Cons

The cons are only cons for specific individuals. BS+Co. is in an exciting high growth phase. For the right person, the fast-paced environment would be a con for others like me it’s a pro.

Pros

What you see is what you get. A heavy emphasis on autonomy but all the support I need to actually be autonomous. Still growing and I have the chance to try many different things.

Cons

Change is a part of this culture. If that is something you don't like, this won't be a good place for you.

Pros

Some of the non-leadership level employees are very nice.

Cons

At the end of the day, if a job or company sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Leadership makes a lot of promises but they are unrealistic. The company is growing without the resources, tools, and leadership to support the growth, placing onus on the employees. It can be an emotional rollercoaster. Leadership tells employees how much they appreciate them one week and then terminates half of those same employees the next week. Three employees were let go in one week. It may be worth noting that a recent news article about BS+Co. highlights their new office in downtown Knoxville and mentions a new slate of local employees. The employees that were let go just prior to that were all remote and made up about 65% of the remote team. A lot of value is placed on autonomy. It is sold to employees as a benefit of working for a "non-agency" agency. But there is a difference between autonomy to make strategic decisions for a client and being expected to deliver without the support and resources in place to do so. The right kind of person could be fine here, but if you are looking for stability and trust, proceed with caution and a bit of skepticism.
