Pros
Working at Baxter has been wonderful. The culture at Baxter encourages continuous development, passion to innovate, and focus on making rapid and disciplined decisions with the customer and employees in mind every step of the way. During my career with Baxter, I have been able to network with individuals at all hierarchy levels with no hesitation on meeting for mentorship opportunities or non-formal coffee chats. Even though Baxter is a large company, it truly has the feel of a family with the same goal and values of helping others in mind. With the split taking place, Baxter now has the opportunity to grow, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance business strategies.
Cons
At Baxter, there is a tendency to not change processes, procedures, and technology. With that being said, Baxter now as a stand-alone company has started to drive innovation initiatives and business enhancements.
