Pros
The benefits and pay are great. There's a lot of flexibility being salaried. There's a lot of really smart people I get to work with.
Cons
We're becoming "lean"... which can be good if it's done right. But, it's being done wrong. The people implementing the tools don't understand them. They don't get Valuestream mapping, Kaizen, LDI, none of it. It's all a perversion of what the TPS system really is. What's worse, there's a severe lack of leadership, and too much onus is put on the little guy. If they keep this up, they'll be in trouble.
