Pros

I worked there for 25 years, had lots of fun with some of the friends Imade there. The culture is great; the people are great. The pay is average, but it's about market rate. Severance from layoffs is better than any other place I've heard of.

Cons

Most people seem over worked, even though they stress the importance of work/life balance. There's a general trend, Feb-May there will be layoffs, maybe a couple throughout the year. Started there in 2000, since 2008, I've always thought of working at BBY meant you were working on borrowed time, and each spring meant there's a chance a layoff would impact people.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
