Pros

There are no pros working at Best Buy

Cons

HR tracks each and every employee login and logout. 10 to 4 and then login in back to sync with the US team. Full of unwanted processes. Getting one approval on a design takes atleast a month and implementing a smallest of feature takes atleast 2 months. Buffons are Director and senior managers here.

Pros

Best Buy was arguably my best job I’ve ever worked. The work environment is fun, the recognition from the company is great, you feel connected to your peers, sales is emphasized but not forced down your throat. The customers were overall pleasant. You get your upset people as with any other company but Best Buy there was not much room for disappointment. The growth was there if you want it.

Cons

The pay is not a livable wage past a certain point. With kids and bills I unfortunately had to leave. Growing within Best Buy is kind of a who you know situation. While not horrible, it’s discouraging, or can be rather.

Pros

-It's a job that is available in most locations.

Cons

-The company, on a corporate level, doesn't seem to grasp the value of the talent they have. - Close ties with Citibank subvert the importance of product knowledge, customer service, and revenue for credit card sales. - Daily Performance check-ins are overbearing and myopic. - Tends to burnout motivated employees with false carrots and hollow promises. - Pay's terrible, and rides the line of predatory at times.
