Pros

Rank and file employees are excellent - everyone wants to do a good job and pulls together to do what's needed to keep customer happy, even when that's not easy. Work life balance is good, but that's more a function of the business itself than the culture.

Cons

* Senior management expects trust but doesn't give any * Sane voices on the management team have quit or been laid off * Lack of real management experience is obvious during hard times * Habit of laying off employees a month before their first stock vesting cliff * Engineering culture uses "agility" as a cover for shoddy work * VPs yelling in meetings is never a good look * Short term thinking is the norm

Pros

Great people to be around and the hours were pretty lenient as long as you got your work completed.

Cons

Lack of direction for the company as a result of acquisition.

Pros

BloomThat is a funky synergy of varied talent and style - everyone is really secure in being themselves and bringing their own set of skills to the table while being able to work well together. The focus from management is performance oriented and hard work never goes unnoticed. We build each other up giving credit where it is due and strive to craft inclusive language when critiquing and giving feedback on work processes. The platform BloomThat has built to allow people to share a little kindness and joy with others has amazing potential. I look forward to massive and rapid growth. I started as a contractor a little over a year ago and was brought in as a full time employee with benefits ~3mo back.

Cons

Chchchchchanges! Not really a con but this is a fast paced and ever growing workplace. It's not unusual to walk in one day and find a certain process has been retooled or that things in the office have been rearranged. This is the nature of a young, blossoming business but may take a little getting use to for some.
