Cons
The actual job at BlueChew is fine, repetitive and tedious at times, but not difficult. Unfortunately, the workplace culture is the real problem. Unless you’re friends with the leads, don’t expect to be trained on anything beyond the bare minimum. Promotions and opportunities have far more to do with popularity than performance.
It genuinely feels like working in a high school. Cliques control the environment, gossip spreads everywhere, and long-term employees treat the place like their territory. If they decide they don’t like you, you’ll feel it immediately. The atmosphere is toxic, and new employees are judged from day one.
Raises are small, growth is nearly nonexistent, and management does very little to address the behavior of leads who essentially run the show unchecked. HR focuses on protecting the company, not the employees experiencing bullying or harassment.
