Pros

Great communication between executives and staff. Lots of opportunities to think outside your hired role and try new tasks. All input from any employee was listened to and considered in future plans. Really felt like part of a team and that the company was building something that would benefit all industries now and in the future. Was very little if any micro-management of staff. When hired you were expected to be a self starter and to use your prior knowledge and experience to help you navigate to determine the best way to complete tasks, assignments and daily duties. We all had an opportunity to contribute to the foundation of the company.

Cons

downsized due to strategic reorganization

Pros

I personally think that the product is actually not too bad, and a number of customers seem to love it. Upper management has a track record of running successful companies...although as they say, past history doesn't predict future performance.

Cons

Some departments within BlueRoads are headed by top managers who didn't seem to know any better and blindly accepted everything the middle managers tell them. These middle managers in turn took advantage of the situation and used it to cover their own poor performance and for their own advancement. As a result, there are too many managers and directors and not enough people who actually do the job. In fact, some directors are in name only and don't have any directee's at all.
