Pros
I've worked at Brierley for a number of years and have not ever had an overly negative experience. Across the board, your position can be as little or as much as you make it. There is opportunity to learn and grow if one if willing to take advantage of it. There are so many smart people in the building. I have yet to approach a single one and have him/her refuse to answer a question when asked. That being said, individuals who come to Brierley with a sense of entitlement, expecting to have things handed to them will not be happy at the company. This is an environment for adulting. There are so many willing to help, but not if the help is being used in place of actually learning to do the work. "Teach a man to fish..." Overall, I see many examples of employees who are rewarded for taking the extra step. Great office culture. Business casual dress policy with relaxed code during the summer months. Office functions and team-building opportunities throughout the year. Ability to work from home if needed, as long as the policy is not abused. Support for charitable causes and community organizations. Flexibility to log personal time for community service and not have it count against vacation. Employee rewards for health and wellness.
Cons
Nothing major enough to put here.
