Pros

I started at Caliber as an intern and began work full-time as an Account Coordinator after graduating from college. Knowledgeable, patient and passionate coworkers and mentors have given me hands-on experience while finishing my degree that transformed into a career I love. I feel fortunate to have found an agency that has great leadership like the agency owners, Linda and Kerry, who teach me the ins and outs of the industry and are excited to help me grow. Utilizing our marketing and branding expertise to find innovative solutions for our clients’ needs is rewarding and the team’s positivity and camaraderie makes the office a great place to work.

Cons

Work can be fast-paced at times, depending on the client, but that's just part of the industry! If you're a team player and enjoy being busy, you'll do well here.

Pros

During my tenure at the Caliber Group, I managed public relations and had the opportunity to help shape thought leadership, as well as weigh in on some very interesting community outreach projects. The owner and I worked closely on projects, where I was able to learn from her experience and push myself out of my comfort zone into new professional territory. This is a great way to get better at your craft. She put a lot of faith in me, even when I didn't always feel it myself! It was an excellent learning opportunity that made me better at not only PR, but in helping to lead in many new areas of communications where I had never worked before. Nearly a decade later, I am still using those lessons as a PR strategist for the largest hospital system in Oregon.

Cons

This was a great learning experience for me and the owner gave me the opportunity to grow. Growth can be painful, but it's certainly not a con!
