Pros

Most of the people are team players and dedicate themselves every day to helping the company succeed, both at corporate headquarters and the remote people as well. The company was also willing to make significant investments in technology in an effort to be more competitive in the marketplace. The company has made a lot of progress towards creating an environment where most of the decisions are being made through facts and data. The organization has much more structure today than it did two years ago. Most of the Leadership Team does a very good job of being patient with employees if they need time off to work through difficult situations.

Cons

Although the company has made significant investments in technology, those investments have yet to yield impactful results. The overall enterprise spent a lot of time creating core values. The core values made sense and were embraced by most people in the organization. However, a consultant was brought into the organization to help streamline process and procedures. Overall the consultant was making progress in many areas but at the same time was extremely toxic to the workplace as she had no regard for the core values. The teams saw this and morale began to drop. Lastly the overall shared services model was not effective in many areas and as a result CapRelo does not get the support it should. An example of this would be the lack of support that CapRelo receives from the enterprise HR department both at headquarters and remote employees. This has had an adverse effect on the organization.

The shared services teams work diligently to ensure that all of the business units both on-site and remotely, are included in company events, training, and receive the support that they need through regular on-site visits, electronic communications, and video meetings. In an effort to better support the organization, the HR team added several new members to the team in fall of 2016. If you have specific concerns, please reach out to the head of HR.

Pros

I truly cannot say enough good about this company! I know some of you are reading this and wondering if the company was so great then why did you leave? Excellent question. I put in my resignation because I wanted to reenlist in the Military. I missed putting on a uniform and serving my country. This company does love their Veterans! They have great benefits and a great work life balance. The team that I worked for was always willing to help and they taught me a lot especially about Microsoft Excel and Word. Thank you for reading this and I hope this helps in your decision to apply to this company.

Cons

I do not have any cons and I know that sounds bad but for me, this company taught me a lot about time management, and attention to detail. I am very grateful for the team that I worked for and it was a hard decision for me to choose to leave but in the end, I had to go with my passion. If there is one Con I need to put down, there are no offices in Antarctica or the North Pole and I would like to explore the world. Thank you CapRelo for everything!!

Allowed to work remotely for most employees

Cons

Benefits are mediocre at best. Work life balance is non-existent and employees are not valued.
