Excellent mortgage company - Mortgage Loan Processor Catalyst Lending Employee Review

Was always able to get help with questions. From the Operations manager, processors, closing, and post closing. They really took great care of their employees, and it was a great atmosphere to work in. It was close to my home, and the offices are very nice.

Supposedly the market slowed and there was several layoffs, then the company got acquired by another company which can happen in this industry. Otherwise it was a really fun place to work.

The management staff is very open to all, available to all, and very supportive. The support team is fantastic when you have an issue and need them (otherwise they are just great co-workers). Loan Officers are great at asking questions when needed and supportive when things don't always go their way. Processors are strong and willing to the items needed but strong enough to question why when they need to and not just follow orders. They also have your back when you have a bad day and just need them to support you. The underwriting team is one of the best I have worked with in many years. They are open to discussions and want to help train others to grow and improve if the desire is there. I love my job everyday! I have already talked to others about joining the company when the right position opens up!

There are going to be ups and downs just like any place else (it is the mortgage industry) but I have not had a day yet that made me question my move to Catalyst. Don't get me wrong - yes people have bad days but this is truly a team that get the idea of "team effort". Sorry - no cons about the company.
