I joined the ClickSoftware sales team 1 year ago and it has been an incredible first 12 months. Having sold software all over the world for more than 20 years with big companies, small companies, and everywhere in between, it was important to me that my next endeavor be with a company who had a vision to fundamentally change the world. And we have. Becoming a “Clicker” was an easy decision for me after doing a little homework. ClickSoftware has a very strong and very loyal customer base. They have world-class products (Gartner MQ for 6 consecutive years!) and have formed very strategic partnerships with some of the most powerful software companies on the planet: Salesforce.com and SAP. But that’s just the company. What really got me excited was the people. From the most senior executives to the developers behind our transformational platform – from the consulting services team to the support engineers who ensure our customers deliver exception experiences for their customers every day – from our go-to-market teams to our finance, accounting, and legal teams who make doing business with Click and easy choice for our customers. Exceptionally talented people all around me from whom I learn more every day. No hidden agendas, no politics – just a winning attitude from the entire organization who has a singular focus to drive compelling results for our customers. Is ClickSoftware a perfect company? Of course not – no company is. But I’ve realized more success at Click in the last 12 months than I have in the last 12 years combined – and I had a lot of fun doing it.
