Grew fast from beauty advisor to counter manager to business manager (5 years) Great gratis Compensation was great for beauty advisor and you made commission Great training ! Loved that almost 3-4 times out of the year you have a training session! Great support from retail academy team! Only the best people who work on management at counter level Interview process was extent but you learn a lot about your personal strengths and weaknesses!
Cons
Compensation when you get into management was not good. They say you'll get a certain % of sales goals but if you make your sales goal which didn't happen offer as targets are too high. Targets were really high for the counter and also individually. They expect you as a manager to also hit personal sales targets File cards were easy if your a beauty advisor but they expect you to also keep it up as a manager. This was impossible as you had to coach your associates, plan counter events, make your counter goal, have meetings with the store management and also make your own personal sales target weekly / monthly. Work life and balance doesn't happen as you do a lot of your paper work at home instead of at work as you needed to make your own personal targets
