Pros
-Some really talented artists -Friendly people -Unlimited PTO -Flexible schedule -fully remote, as in you can work anywhere for real and not be locked to specific region like most companies -decent compensation, they’re always opened to chat about it -More artistic freedom than bigger studios Overall I did enjoy working here, It has its flaws which I will list below but it was personally still one of the better experiences I had while working in this industry.
Cons
- The projects always end up being rushed which results in low morale and inability to be proud of my work. - There’s a disconnect between certain disciplines - I didn’t feel trusted and supported by my manager and was occasionally offended and brought down by their communication styles. They need to train leads and managers in soft skills. - people getting fired for reasons I don’t understand - Irresponsible hiring spree that resulted in recent layoff -Strange hiring process that is not transparent at all - Strange dev cycle
