Pros

The money and the benefits. The field operations team and managers were great. Oh, and the customers. I really enjoyed working with the customers. The building is nice, too bad the Director of Facilities was let go for complaining about the way employees were treated. He did a really nice job.

Cons

Senior Management was cruel, sophmoric, and cliquey. Employees are kept out of the loop, which is probably a good thing, since the Senior Team and many Directors were a group who seemed more interested in getting rid of employees then in creating good service for the customer and great products. Anyone who does not agree with top management or the Operating Vice President, was let go, no matter how small the issue or how valuable of an employee you were. As the top guy once famously said at a leadership meeting, "You have to drink the Kool Aid to be successful here." You are reading this correctly, a reference was made between the Jonestown Massacre and Cox Communications, Arizona. Very apt, all things considered. I personally know about 20 managers who were terminated for little or no reason. Better drink the kool aid.....

Pros

Great work/life balance, culture and benefits. Work from home. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Merging with Charter this year. If I still have a job after the merger, I'll be losing unlimited PTO, WFH, culture and who knows about work/life balance. Some may be asked to move to CT. At the end of 2024 the company offered a generous VSP. Knowing the upcoming severance packages we may be offered by Charter, some of us feel betrayed.
