Pros

HOURLY co workers are supportive,as we are all in the same sinking boat, bailing with a strainer!

Cons

There truly are no words that accurately describe the blatant and rampant culture of lies from "Supervisors" and "Management". Hourly employees are intimidated on a daily basis. Raise structure is a joke.Bonuses that used to go to the actual revenue GENERATING employees(The HOURLY employees) have been spent rather on "team building exercises" for Supervisors and Management. Some to include trips to Vegas, white water rafter, paintball excursions, and 10K bonuses paid out to Sups and Mgrs. No allowances are made for actual human issues or problems; If it doesn't fit in the M&Ps...it doesn't exist Absolutely no opportunity for any type of advancement regardless of qualifications.

We're glad to know that you enjoy the flexibility, work-life balance and employee benefits that a career at Cox offers, and that you would recommend Cox as an employer. Cox's footprint and cross-industry impact do frequently necessitate agility with change, but we strive to offer a workplace experience that has the stability of a large company with the friendly community and innovation culture of a startup. And while our impact continues to grow, our values and mission remain the same: across our family of businesses, we're building a better future. We hope you feel that to be the case.

Pros

Great work/life balance, culture and benefits. Work from home. Unlimited PTO.

Cons

Merging with Charter this year. If I still have a job after the merger, I'll be losing unlimited PTO, WFH, culture and who knows about work/life balance. Some may be asked to move to CT. At the end of 2024 the company offered a generous VSP. Knowing the upcoming severance packages we may be offered by Charter, some of us feel betrayed.
