Pros
It is interesting to see the products you worked on out in the field. Vending machines are virtually everywhere. If you can get it up front, the salaries are good for the rural South Carolina area.
Cons
Absolutely the most hostile work environment I've encountered. I've seen directors and VPs go into profanity-laced tirades on employees over situations outside that employee's control. When you depart, your blood pressure will drop at least 60 points. It's as if the management culture never progressed from 1932, where the beatings will continue until morale improves. If you cannot pull off the impossible, you're treated as an idiot. If you can pull off the impossible, there will not be a word of gratitude, and it will be expected from you every single time in the future. The company has missed the boat on numerous vending opportunities. See the Best Buy vending machines in stores and at airports? Missed the ball on that one.
