      Pros

      Opportunity to specialize in an industry. Partners are readily available and eager to support their teams and develop staff. Mobility strategy is promoted and allows you to work from home. Opportunities for growth. People are great!

      Cons

      It's still a public accounting job (tight budgets while trying to meet your chargeable goals, long hours and stress during busy season). Travel can be often (although a plus to some). Pay is slightly lower than industry. New technology needs some help.

      Pros

      As a working parent there is a ton of flexibility and understanding for my needs at home. This has enabled me to work through busy seasons without a ton of extra stress.

      Cons

      Recent return to office mandates are hard for employees who were hired on remote and don’t live near an office.
