Note: Over the past 10 days, we’ve received a much higher-than-usual volume of Glassdoor reviews. We’ve flagged this activity with Glassdoor for review. Regardless, we take all feedback seriously and will continue to respond thoughtfully and transparently.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. We recognize that starting at DealMaker can feel demanding, and that the pace and expectations don’t land the same way for everyone.
As we’ve scaled, we’ve intentionally raised operating standards and introduced more structure to support long-term performance. That includes clearer review processes and increased use of AI, which we see as tools to create leverage and improve decision-making — not to replace judgment or diminish the human side of the work. When those efforts aren’t sequenced well, teams can feel stretched, and we continue to refine how work is prioritized and resourced.
While the work is fast-paced, it’s important to clarify that DealMaker is not experiencing the level of voluntary turnover described here. Hiring, staffing, and performance decisions are made deliberately with long-term sustainability in mind.
DealMaker today is a high-ownership, high-accountability environment. It isn’t the right fit for everyone, and that’s okay. For those who thrive here, it’s a place to collaborate with strong peers, build skills quickly, and help shape what comes next.
