Pros

Some incredibly talented individuals that work here. There is no shortage of ambition and effort, and it's honestly great to see just how willing some colleagues strive to get things done.

Cons

Significant disconnect between leadership's public image and the experience of employees on the ground. The daily experience within DealMaker does not match the lofty vision painted in external communications. The reality for many employees has been misalignment between ambitious goals and the practical day-to-day support needed to meet them. Feedback from employees is not addressed in a meaningful way. We only recently allowed anonymous feedback once again, that should be telling. At the end of the day, it's top down execution and the pain is felt across the organization, regardless of teams. Internal culture continues to degrade at the pace observed in recent months. The issue here isn't a lack of effort or ambition. Employees continue to face significant operational challenges with the attempts at scale due to constantly shifting priorities, unclear metrics for success, and a culture increasingly driven by urgency at the expense of collaboration. If you add that altogether, compensation is clearly not equitable or balanced. The “high stakes” work is often made unnecessarily harder by lack of alignment between teams and unclear accountability structures.

Pros

Exceptional people with growth mindsets. Visionary CEO and leadership. Challenging Environment Opportunities to learn and grow. My direct manager is super supportive and leads with empathy. You will never be bored here.

Cons

This environment is amazing but it's not for everyone. We are a very ambitious company and we have large goals. We are a fast growth company and that comes with all the fun and challenges of growth. If you are looking for just a job this place isn't for you. Week one and two (and three) can feel like drinking from a firehose. But if you lean in I promise you will adjust.

Pros

Most of the team bonds over shared stress.

Cons

Working at Deal Maker felt less like building success and more like being chewed up by a machine that only cares about numbers. The culture is high‑pressure, the support is minimal, and the turnover is constant. Employees are treated like disposable sales tools, not people. If you’re looking for balance, respect, or stability, you won’t find it here.
