Pros

I truly cannot think of one positive aspect of my employment here.

Cons

Understaffed, under-paid compared to expectations, VERY HIGH employee turnover. Most employees walk out within first day to a week. Staff members do not communicate at all ; ZERO team atmosphere. The lazy get rewarded, hard workers go unoticed or punished. Multiple cases of key holders and managers stealing and pinning it on cashiers, they were in the processing of suing 2 minimum wage employees for unsubstantiated theft. Manager only counts ending drawer with no cashier verification or liability protection. Zero health or any other benefits, zero training. Very rude staff, management & customers. I was sexually harassed by a Sr. Executive Manager in front of witnesses, I am on SSDI dbl... and zero accomadations were made for my disability, Managers and Executive Staff ALL enter the store but refuse to acknowledge any employee beneath their title, they refuse to say hello or even visually acknowledge you. Although, the expectation is that you greet them and every customer that walks into the store or you can get a write up. Disgusting atmosphere.... literally had customers peeing in the isles, using stolen pregnancy tests in store, not wearing pants, drunks... Needles in parking lot. Associates not allowed to park in front of building, even if making a company cash deposit, NO cameras on side of building. Very unsafe. Attempted armed robbery during my presence.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
