Pros

A good opportunity to work on a project with an international company.

Cons

Had to get a lawyer to retrieve my social security payments and holiday pay. However, I don't blame EF as a company, just the Spanish side of the business who knew what they were doing when the concealed my holiday pay and failed to pay my social security. After legal representation they agreed to pay all outstanding amounts to both myself and the other teacher on the project. I really felt so betrayed by EF after all the hard work and commitment I had given to representing them and promoting their name.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
