Pros
- flexible working hours - 2 days working from home - study support - good holiday entitlement - early finish on a Friday
Cons
The first thing that I noticed while working at EU Automation was the popularity culture. If you didn’t have a certain personality, it was clear that you were not going to be accepted within the team. Days in the office felt like being on a school trip with juvenile behaviour and outright bullying, all of which seemed to be ignored by management and, in some cases, even rewarded with promotions. Endless backstabbing & gossiping took place during my time at this company, I would never willingly work in this kind of atmosphere again. There is a high turnover of staff in this department, it seems that not many people stay longer than 2 years. Arguably, this could be down to the huge lack of appreciation towards staff who work hard but aren’t in the running for the popularity contest.
