Pros

-Excellent wages + nice perks (Free games, ice cream, masseur on site, work events, raffles, meditation rooms to chill etc.) -Language bonus sweetens up the paycheck further -Constantly evolving training and workflow -EA fosters and supports its employees, offering options to improve and grow through various channels -Monthly 1 x 1 Meetings with Team Manager to stay on top of things -Very nice office building with great tech (Those new PCs are sweet!) -Interesting insight in how the gaming industry actually works, I was honestly surprised how like 75% of the EA hate is based on blatant ignorance/wrong information -Galway is a lovely place to live with reasonable rent

Cons

-Blackout periods for vacation periods during peak season -If you are working in T1 can have a rather monotone call centre quality whereas Specialist roles are scarce -Focus on yearly releases like FIFA, Madden etc. is dominant which can be disheartening if these aren't games you enjoy - Even though a Yearly Bonus Scheme exists based on performance, it's nothing special -Information takes time to reach Advisers/Specialists who then have to take the heat from players -

Pros

Fast paced startup mindset in an established corporate ladder

Cons

Privatization might cause headcount reduction, change the tempo and culture in the organization. 🤞

Pros

A lot of good and smart people that are able to create good work together.

Cons

Restructuring every year, nepotism, no clear path for career progression at all, senior leadership isn’t communicating clearly, acquisition communication has been non-existent, layoffs are a constant factor and fear, unclear why some people get promoted and many high performers do not
