Pros

I met some of the kindest people working there

Cons

I met some of the most two faced people working there who would do anything to get promoted There are so many people working at EA like it is a government job. There are some who have been there for more than 20 years. There are individuals at senior levels who never worked anywhere else but EA which left them uneducated about how other companies use data and technology. EA’s strategy is in the hands of a small group of people who don’t really have a great understanding of the work that is being done or the strategy. They make decisions without understanding the impact and that’s so visible to the IC level employees who desperately look for jobs elsewhere. There are a few data people who are trusted blindly. Feelings play a big role in decisions. Who you are friends with in the org has a bigger impact on your promotion than your output. They want everyone but everyone to communicate in their style. There is absolutely no sensitivity or acceptance for other cultures and communication styles. To survive in this org you need to fit in. Say the things they want to hear and in the way they want you to say them. Diversity and inclusion? All senior level leaders are either Irish or Americans. If you are a male you can say anything in any tone and it would be ok but if you are a female you need to watch the way you speak at all times. Salary? They will pay you way below the market standards and way below your worth. RUN AWAY! I am aware of a colleague who reported that they were sexually assaulted by another employee at EA. The HR did nothing. Senior leaders were aware of the situation they did nothing. The person still works at EA.
