Pros
The benefits are good, especially the health insurance and the PTO accrual rate, when compared to similar employers in the Atlanta metro area. Staff are not held to an incredibly high standard, so it's relatively easy to do little work with no negative repercussions.
Cons
Relatively lower pay when compared to similar roles at competitor institutions in the Atlanta metro area. Some of the long term employees seem to be just "riding the train to retirement" and not making significant contributions to the mission or business operations. Incompetent leaders are simply allowed to turn over their entire staff or are moved to a different area rather than coached out the door. Exit interviews take place, but there is no evidence that any meaningful changes are instituted based on the feedback.
