Pros
Most people at S3 are very collaborative and willing to help as soon as you join, and even after the training period.
Cons
However, they do not mention in their job posting that the position is offered on a self-employed/contractor basis. You are only informed either shortly before signing the contract or once training has already started. There is also a lack of support and collaboration from HR and Payroll. Payments are often made very late; some people have received their salary as late as the 9th of the month without any explanation, despite SEPA transfers generally being processed almost instantly across the SEPA area.
There is also a lack of transparency regarding procedures and the overall situation surrounding the dismissal of the entire QA team, which was replaced by an AI system that evaluates staff inaccurately, even when employees follow the company's own procedures. I do not believe the company owners are fully aware of the situation within the support department. Not to mention the scheduling. They classify you as an independent contractor, but the contract requires exclusivity. You cannot set your own working hours, and due to poor planning and organization, they can schedule you to work more than six consecutive days if they choose to.
