Pros

Very humane company where people truly care about your welfare and happiness as a human being. My work is challenging in an exciting way, I have a great team and an excellent manager, and my compensation is competitive. I learn something new every day, and I've developed some of my deepest most meaningful relationships with other folks at Etsy.

Cons

The Product organization isn't super strong, particularly Product leadership.

Thank you for this thorough feedback and we’re so glad that your experience has overall been such an enjoyable one. We know that challenging yet enjoyable work, meaningful relationships with teammates, and competitive pay all significantly influence our colleagues’ day to day. We hear you in this feedback around access to more education and coaching, and it has been a key area of focus for our leaders. We have amped up full-time employee development by investing in tooling and professional development budgets but there is always room for improvement. The expansions that have occurred within our People Development and Learning & Development departments will absolutely assist in our continued development of even more tailored resources, like those that you’ve listed here for Product team members. We’re hopeful that you’ll begin to feel these effects soon!

Pros

cool culture flexible work arrangements, decent pay, cool work.

Cons

outsourcing everything they can, selling all they can for parts, its a sinking ship of a company. keep in mind that they spend more on labor in Mexico city than in USA! What a sham! should be taken off US Stock exchange for that! Loosing users at a steady rate year of year. I'd avoid. no growth opportunity. Not brand vision.
