Pros

Getting to know coworkers from different backgrounds and cultures. It’s just a job and not a career.

Cons

Extremely toxic, hostile, & insulting environment. Mentally draining & stressful. Hard work is not acknowledged neither are accomplishments recognized. Depending on the owner's mood, he will go on a firing spree and terminate quality employees for unethical reasons most of the time. Owner looks at each employee as replaceable, but too often are people who have gotten fired in the past get hired again including his management. Employees work in a state of fear of making a mistake and being criticized from their shortcomings, either way growth isn't supported under this environment. They hire and promote the wrong people. Current management is unreliable and lacks professionalism. Poor company culture that is filled with lies. Owner is corrupt and has a big ego. Run ineffective meetings. Not everyone is treated equally. Good employees are overworked and taken advantage of. They don't honor their commitments and only make decisions based on what they feel is convenient to them. Lack of respect and consideration towards employees.

Pros

My manager was incredibly nice and organized, as well as the rest of my colleagues. Good pay for a teenager, and given the opportunity to earn a commission.

Cons

We were encouraged to recommend products, and at times "over-exaggerate" how good it actually was and whether or not we used them. This wasn't in any way mandatory but if you are uncomfortable with that sort of thing this may be a deal-breaker. Google reviews were heavily valued, therefore I became a bit obsessed with keeping track of them because I knew my manager would want to remedy it asap. With that being said, unless you're working a weekend shift, the afternoons become incredibly monotonous, so your kinda just forced to stare out the window watching the cars go by, I recommend bringing a book.
