      Pros

      The people are great there is a strong collaboration ethic in the F5 culture . You do not have the Zero Sum Game mentality that is common at most tech companies. It is a smaller company so you can have a great impact in the business and feel more connected to the broader company as a whole.

      Cons

      The pay is comparable but the benefits like medical does not cover as much. Other than that no real down side so far.

      Lower than standard industry pay Corporate culture weeds out those who don't toe the line Weak management with little to no mentorship High turnover, downsizing regularly No direction or accountability within or across teams No advancement opportunity / only senior positions ever available
