Pros

Salary, benefits, flexible WFH (during COVID-19).

Cons

Sales for SEA and other regions are managed by a very small team constantly working overtime because the time difference from head office in US and many deadlines. Salary is good but you have to sacrifice all your time. Be ready to have meetings 11pm onward or 5am and work on average of 16 hours per day, to be fast and precise, without minimal margin for errors. Conditions get worse on every quarter end, causing panic for upcoming stressful performance review. Once you do not exceed expectations you are indirectly asked to leave.

Pros

You will have a lot of technical exposure and take away is political skills. You will learn patient.

Cons

A hostile working environment with bad politic to manipulate you. for example; they will ask you to close 2 cases every day even though it does not state in your employment contract initially. If you can't close 2 cases every day, your immediate boss will threaten or insult you. No equal opportunity. Ready to face for emotional depression and insomnia. Customer support engineers are Guinea pigs.

Pros

Reasonably good work life balance

Cons

1. The CEO doesn't walk the talk 2. 2 years in the last 5 without salary increases 3. Low salary increases when they do happen 4. Several acquisitions that don't integrate or make much sense to long term goals 5. General distrust of senior execs 6. Maximum quota for promotions 7. Different benefits based on location, good if you're in USA 8. Very little scope for career advancement 9. Below industry standard for pay scale 10. All hoping for Palo Alto offers 11. Forcing everyone back to the office when the past 3 years proved that working from home was equally productive.
