Pros

Meeting people & building a close relationship with regular customers is a positive with FedEx if it lasts, however the company is constantly playing games with numbers and goals by micromanaging, that seems to bump some people from there routes, then a few months later when the big ideas / plans fail to produce any gains it goes back to the same old way, but your no longer with your old customers because you were probably forced to move or bumped

Cons

unobtainable goals that have been constantly raised for more than a decade to the point you can no longer make them unless you break all the rules set in stone, break most rules of the road including that you speed thru neighborhood streets, briskly sprint up to all the homes or bussiness, and work thru most of your lunch lining up the rest of the days work on your own time i might add, just to get close to your goal to avoid the daily NOID

Pros

Great flexibility with scheduling, which makes it incredibly easy to balance with school or other external commitments. The team environment is supportive, and the management generally respects your availability

Cons

The physical workload can be quite demanding and tiring, especially during peak seasons. Depending on the shift, communication across different teams can sometimes feel a bit unorganized.

Pros

Easy to apply, fast to get hired (no interview process) and the pay

Cons

Very rude management, lack of care for safety, no drinkable water (all filters are in the red and have been since I started) They have cameras everywhere and are constantly watching you but say you can’t bring your own phone in because “people steal them”? There is junk everywhere. Lots of trash everywhere (employees drinks and food). They want you to work and eat on the line instead of giving you breaks to do so. They get upset when you use the bathroom or fill your water bottle even if you’ve been working for 3 hours straight but if you clock in at an area 2 min walking distance from your work area you’re “stealing time” I’ve noticed people of color get treated differently. The HR department has some of the most prejudice employees so there’s no real equality if you have conflict with someone. I’ve never been, but it feels like a prison to go in and out of the building and lastly you don’t work a consistent schedule. You leave when they say you can.
