Pros
- Flexible working policy; lots of people of varying ages but all don't care where you get the work done. 50/50 approach but not strictly enforced like other Asset Managers. If you do a late night, you aren't expected to be a seat warmer the next. - Pay is not at the top band, but not at the bottom - Firm events are frequent, interesting content with free food that usually quite good (e.g. GYG, Roll'd) - Strong sustainability/ESG focus, they put their money where their mouth is with the internal initiatives currently running. - If milk is what you're into, 7 different types of milk. - Firm culture is positive, no animosity shown between teams and people are generally very friendly. - Offices are nice. - Strong initiatives for personal development - 2 free days of wellness leave + flexible bank holiday.
Cons
- Flat structure = not much room to grow and high performing employees will always leave - Has old CBA ways still lingering around; takes a while to get things done but this will pass over time. - Global company = global hours. Working two timezones can be a bit tiresome.
