Pros

Working remote Free food Management was excluded from most local office decisions Veteran coworkers are very helpful Fun networking and marketing opportunities

Cons

Dishonest HR department- they failed to initiate my benefits upon completion of the probationary period. Disjointed staff- no one was ever on the same page Training was nonexistent Management was inexperienced, and tried to sell products we did not offer No cohesion between upper management and local offices Consistently mistreated employees that spoke up about concerns regarding local issues Gave praise then terminated employees without proper notice No market analysis for new markets causing markets to shut down without notice then attempting to fabricate reasons why unemployment benefits should not be paid after praising for increase in sales. If you choose to work for Foodee do your homework, document everything and don’t trust anyone.

Pros

Accessible, compassionate CEO who truly cares about her employees Smart coworker who motivate each other to innovate and succeed You can easily advocate for yourself and how you want to grow your career

Cons

Occasional whiplash from making decisions and then changing them before the dust has settled Often hamstrung by resources In an industry that is competitive and hard to differentiate yourself

Pros

There's a strong culture of trust, openness and transparency that is hard to find in a lot of companies these days. Leadership is receptive to feedback, which is particularly important in a startup environment where best practices haven't been quite established yet. When feedback is given, they actually address it and take action on it, fostering a community of contribution and collaboration.

Cons

Common growing pains with a young company. Reorganization is common and the funnel doesn't always function the way that it should. Team is spread out across the US and Canada so communication can sometimes be challenging.
