Pros

Great on-site team members to work with Free Membership Free Lunch on Thursdays DTO- Paid days off up to 8hrs- $18/hr Medical, Dental, Vision

Cons

The job description posted on LinkedIn and hiring managers will hide key criteria about the job from the start to entice you to take the job. You will go through a 3-4 hour hiring process with 4 different interviews only to learn about the actual Job criteria at the end when the offer you the position. You’ll be pressured to take the job so be prepared for a quick answer. This job will require the following: 50hr work weeks- (5) 10hr shifts at a mall from 10am-8pm Some locations are outside so you’re eyes may get damaged from constant exposure to sunlight. Other locations are indoors however. You’ll make $18/hr but with overtime it comes out to $20/hr. They’ll pay $100 per sign up but there are no inbound leads to work from. You will peddle foot traffic passing by the mall to invite people in for a tour. Signing someone up on the spot can be very challenging if you don’t have sales experience. Most MSA’s average 1-3 a sign ups per week. Expected (ACTUAL) total pay is around $60,000-$70,000 but you’ll be working an extra 500hrs a year. The actual product does not align with expectations or reality. At times it feels like we’re misleading customers with what we’re actually offering. A very fraudulent product that doesn’t line up with customer expectations that the sales reps have to establish in the pitch. You’ll have basic training from staff at HQ who’ve never done this job before. Some used to be MSA’s but they sold using inbound leads online. They literally train us how to do a job they’ve never done themselves. You’ll get bi-weekly check ins from your supervisor but those get rescheduled or cancelled all the time. There’s no plan for promotion and if they do promote you will be asked to relocate to San Francisco. Last round a couple of years back they promoted 3 out of 30+ people. This company operates from a very progressive and woke executive team who tries so hard to be politically correct that they undermine staff for the sake of policy and an extreme liberal agenda. Benefits: No 401k match No stock options No clear career path/ramp up

Pros

Supportive and collaborative team, strong product mindset, clear goals, and respect for design. High ownership, trust, and autonomy. Leadership is open to feedback, and designers are involved in real product decisions, not just visuals.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with a lot of responsibility, which may not be ideal for someone looking for a slower or more structured workflow. Priorities can shift as the company grows, but this is typical for scaling teams.

Pros

1. Smart and friendly coworkers 2. Good engineering culture 3. Opportunities for growth

Cons

1. Not-profitable - Forward never found a working model to solve the problem, and anchored heavily on solutions that lacked market-fit evidence. Contradictory to the problem-focused culture at Forward. 2. The finance problems lead to urgency. Work was demanding and tough across the org. However, engineering velocity was not the problem to begin with, leading to a vicious cycle of unmet goals -> tighter deadlines. 3. Frequent and fundamental shifts in company priorities leading to disorganized sprints and planning. A lot of work were throw away despite long hours invested.
