Pros
Decent benefits, safe location, office is close to plenty of restaurants and food options
Cons
This was one of the worst experiences I've had as an employee of any law firm. I am going to write this review very carefully so as not to get accused of libel or have this review removed. This is just my personal opinion, but it seemed that it was conveyed in various ways that management was not that concerned with employee well being, comfort or welfare. I was contacted by my HR/my supervisor on days off/weekends or outside of business hours, had a concern I expressed be disregarded until it became a safety hazard, pressured to work when I had to evacuate from my home during a local natural disaster, pressured to work on a weekend, insulted over something that happened in my personal life during a performance review, felt excessively scrutinized and bullied, and I ended up making complaints which I felt were possibly used against me, and possibly made the rest of my tenure even worse. I witnessed what I perceived as a decent amount of turnover within my approximate 2 year tenure, and some of my colleagues were overwhelmed, despondent, or too afraid to even speak up or ask questions. I witnessed and heard about multiple staffers quitting on the spot. This office seemed to create burned out, depressed, anxious employees who had been pushed to their limits. Unless you are desperate to make a career in immigration law, you probably could do better than subjecting yourself to what I just described in order to further someone else's business goals which you may have no interest or investment in.
