Pros

FreeWave is a mission-driven company solving real problems in industrial connectivity, critical infrastructure, OT, IIoT, and secure remote access. The company has strong technology with meaningful potential, especially around Zentry, Zero Trust, secure edge access, and modernizing how organizations connect to remote assets. The work is interesting and impactful. You get exposure to customers, technical challenges, product strategy, sales engineering, and real-world infrastructure problems. There are opportunities to take ownership, contribute ideas, and help shape the direction of new solutions.

Cons

Because the company is evolving, employees need to be comfortable with change, ambiguity, and building structure while moving forward.

Pros

Collaborative culture with direct access to leadership and the ability to influence decisions. Opportunity to work on innovative technologies in industrial IoT, wireless communications, edge computing, and cybersecurity. Employees are trusted to take ownership and make meaningful contributions. Cross-functional teams work closely together, creating strong visibility into products and customer needs. Small enough that individuals can have a real impact, but with a diverse portfolio of technologies and markets. Flexible environment that encourages problem-solving, initiative, and continuous improvement. Talented and dedicated colleagues who genuinely care about customer success.

Cons

As with many growing technology companies, priorities can shift as market opportunities and customer needs evolve. Teams often wear multiple hats, which can be challenging for those who prefer highly specialized roles. Resources are more limited than at very large corporations, requiring creativity and adaptability to get things done. Processes continue to mature as the company grows and expands into new markets.
