GLG Response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The health of our colleagues always comes first, and we regret we couldn’t address your concerns while you were still with the company.
As an organization, we’ve made significant progress to meet the moment we’re in. Teams have more flexibility than ever before. Our current hybrid model gives GLGers the option to work in one of our state-of-the-art offices or entirely remotely, based on personal preferences and circumstances.
We’re also drawing hard lines around holidays and long weekends – including designated time off periods – to ensure GLGers are taking the time they need; hiring to ensure teams have additional levels of support and coverage to stay on top of client projects; and continuing to normalize time off the desk during regular business hours.
While our people no doubt work hard, we are committed to setting clearer expectations to help combat burnout and continuing to provide tools and resources to proactively support wellness. We’re determined to find new ways to make GLG a great place to work for everybody – regardless of role, department, or level of seniority.
Amazing people - lots of reviews say that because it's true. You'll work with smart, genuine, hard working humans.
Good benefits and perks.
Interesting events and opportunities to learn. Overall, a good place to start your career!
Cons
Very fast-paced environment which definitely isn't for everyone. Lots of necessary change.
Good colleagues, arguably a good job post college (for like a year MAX)
Cons
I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is. Spent 5 years there, and watched it go further downhill every year. You leave with only soft skills (if that), and 0 actual industry knowledge. Seriously, you leave only knowing a bunch of Hocus Pocus.
I am really surprised this company hasn't been bought yet. Or merged. On my team alone, we lost 7 out of our 9 managers since January... either due to layoffs or them quitting. Pay is low. There are no bonuses and it's very difficult to get a raise. 90k in NYC is poverty. There are bright people that come in with Masters, and PhDs, and MBAs -- handing them 90k is insulting.
