Pros
Although Genesys is no longer a start up, it is still a very dynamic company with tremendous engineering talent. It's a company which is mostly filled with very intelligent, hard working, and helpful people. It is still a very profitable and growing organization, and has been a very stable and reliable company to work for for a long time. The management structure is very flat, and very few people take offense at criticism of perceived deficiencies, and usually some action is taken to improve them. Employees at Genesys are open minded, results oriented and realistic, and that is what makes it a great place to work. Genesys remains squarely in the forefront of it's industry, far more visionary than it's competitors.
Cons
Genesys has never really been very well organized in terms of internal processes. As the company grows these poorly organized processes are beginning to affect the responsiveness and effectiveness of the organization. Although progress is made every year in this respect, it is never quick enough to match the needs of this growing company.
