3yHi there, I’m Pat and I’m the Chief Customer Officer at GoCardless. Firstly, thank you for sharing your feedback - it’s really important for us to understand how our team is feeling.
I wanted to provide some context on the changes we’re making to transform key aspects of our business operations, which is part of our ongoing strategy to increase efficiencies across the organisation to work towards profitability. Following our acquisition of Nordigen last year, we are increasing investment in our new Riga office to expand our operations in the region. As part of this restructure, as you’ve mentioned, we are proposing to relocate some roles to our Riga office.
We understand that these changes will adversely affect some of our UK based employees and we have tried to give as much notice as possible of this change, so that our teams can make the right choice for themselves and their careers. We will be taking steps to support individuals through this transition, including redundancy packages and outplacement support for those of our team who may be leaving GoCardless.
