Pros
The Work
The work itself is stimulating, time flies and there are always new challenges to solve. Coming from a law background, I never considered a career in legal tech but I’m able to utilise my knowledge and skills in a different environment which is equally as fulfilling.
I enjoy working with our customers. The client facing aspect means I get to interact with a wide variety of professionals and there’s a sense of satisfaction knowing we’re helping law firms move with the times, adopt new technology and serve their clients more efficiently.
I’m also enjoying contributing to the development of the processes that I’m responsible for. I’ve found I’ve had more free reign to create a workflow and develop processes within my role, a benefit mainly a result of the company being a startup.
The Culture
Management cultivate a culture of transparency, respect, collaboration and growth.
I always feel heard, my views are respected and ideas are taken seriously despite only joining less than 6 months ago at a junior role.
Being able to take time to pray means I don’t have to choose between faith and work.
The People
I’d say everyone is friendly and welcoming. The relationships between departments are great too. I can confidently reach out to another team whenever I need help.
I find the atmosphere is lively and energetic in my team.
Cons
Having to go through the chain of command when raising certain requests can cause delays in time sensitive situations (however, when the time sensitive nature is raised, I’ve seen how fast departments work to reach results).
