Pros

Benefits such as health insurance , 401k match, paid time off, Holidays off with pay, those benefits are excellent if you can stand your job and stick it out.

Cons

Wow! Should have read the reviews on here before accepting employment. Some are spot on: training is so unorganized and one gets thrown right in and then reprimanded and corrected as if the work was supposed to be known, low pay with incentives per lease but lack of time to sell due to short handedness and doing a million other tasks, cliquey, watch your step, and if you read reviews and you wouldn't desire to live at that community chances are working there will be worse. With private owners granting limited budgets everyone ( residents , employees ) suffers. You have to pay money to make money in business. If a leasing professional is touring with potential future residents and the community has dirty walkways, broken advertised secure gates, and disgruntled residents talking about issues in front of a future resident, it means there are not enough employees to get the community where it should be. Too much work for each employee.

Pros

-Great networking opportunities. -Good IT support. -Great benifits. -Great employee housing discount and housing opportunities. -Commissions will make your paycheck worth it.

Cons

-Management is broad and impersonal. You may feel like a number. -Your workload can be a lot at times. if you work well under pressure, you'd succeed here. -The leasing season is not year round meaning you will have slow months and you will have good ones. Save in the good months to get through the slow ones. -High turnover. Resilience will get you far. -It's rare that you get your weekends at a company like this.
