Pros
Groupon finally has more competent leadership. Leadership team is heavily invested and motivated to turn the business around. It's nice for Groupon to finally have adults in the room. New culture of ownership and accountability. Groupon is raising the performance expectations of employees and moving quickly to replace low performers with more experienced candidates Significant opportunities and growth for high performers. Those that have the initiative to tackle hard problems are given plenty of opportunities to take on more responsibility and roles
Cons
Business has still not recovered. The YoY decline has finally been curbed but growth remains flat. It is frustrating to not yet be in a growth mode given the amount of hard work and effort many employees have been putting into turning around the business. We need better talent and experience in middle management and individual contributor roles.
