Great Agency - Account Director H/L Agency Employee Review

Working at H/L Agency has been a great experience. What makes H/L a great place to work are the employees, the company culture, and the flexible work environment. I was a part of a great team with great managers. I was given the freedom to solve complex problems with brand new technology which was invaluable for my career progression. The Data Analytics team at H/L gets to use some awesome tech! As long as a technology would help solve a business problem, they were open to implementing it. I was able to help build out the data engineering infrastructure which helped to greatly enhance data analytics as well as the data culture at H/L. It is truly awesome to work for a company that does not set limitations but understands that investments in these technologies help drive business outcomes. The culture at H/L felt much like a family. I felt like my direct manager and VP actually cared about the well being of not only myself, but our team as a whole. They did not micromanage anyone and we would all work collaboratively to solve problems when necessary. I never felt alone when problems were challenging, which is common in a lot of organizations. They were also very flexible when it came to Dr appointments, sickness, or other life events that arise. The company also had many catered work lunches and dinner outings which was a great way to get to meet people and connect on a more personal level. H/L also has a very flexible work environment which I really enjoyed. This allowed people to work from home or come into the office depending on what suited their personal preference or needs. I never felt forced to go into the office but enjoyed going in to meet people and work collaboratively in person. All in all H/L has been the best company I have had the privilege of working at. I will truly miss the people and the projects that I got to work on. I was able to grow in many ways which I am extremely thankful for.

The only major con working at H/L is that the 401K matching is low compared to other company's that I have worked at.
