Pros

Pretty good benefits unlimited time off many smart and kind folks, for the most part. exciting and innovative brand that continues to grow and succeed Everyone feels passionate about their job, rarely see people phoning it in. Great products that you get for free Remote or hybrid work options

Cons

not enough acknowledgement of areas where leadership can improve. Pay is lower than similar roles elsewhere, a LOT of focus on equity but then some employees can't always afford to buy in. If you bring this up, it makes you look bad. Not always enough resources or assistance when needed. Sometimes this is just inconvenient, but sometimes it is unhealthy. Easy to burn out. Sometimes the kindness of everyone can feel like gaslighting when you still arent getting support during those heavy workloads, or if getting unclear, contradictory direction. If something goes wrong, finger pointing or lack of ownership is rampant.

Pros

Since I joined, the culture here has been amazing - managers and leadership are supportive and smart, and I feel celebrated often. I have heard that culture was toxic before, but there was a mass exodus and all the new hires are amazing in my opinion. I enjoy the flexible remote work and the small teams.

Cons

Budgets are small/tight, but with big expectations which can be tough Some processes need tightening and restructuring and can be disorganized, due to start-up culture

Pros

Fun holiday parties every year, benefits aren't too bad, flex time off, diversity in the workplace, dog friendly office.

Cons

Where do I even begin... all of senior leadership/C-Suite is a mess - most of them constantly bully their subordinates with 0 repercussion. Nothing is merit-based here, it all depends on if your Manager/Dept Head likes you or not. Amazing people are laid off with no warning or explanation, except for the obvious mistreatment of their manager days/weeks leading up to it, while terrible and unqualified people stay employed just to be a warm body and everyone else is overworked as a result. Terrible/non-existent raises/promotions, horrible work culture. You are always doing something wrong in their eyes which warrants the terrible/non-existent raises/promotions. If you get a promotion, its less than a 10% raise. 0 company culture, no team/department bonding. Everyone is looking for someone else to blame instead of working together to solve roadblocks. No one listens to lower level employees.
