Pros

The Brand, The Product, The History

Cons

• In 5 years, the company will be gone and all the blame can be squarely put on senior leadership. • The company only values and protects senior leadership, senior leadership pay, and senior leadership bonuses. Just a tight-knit group protecting one another. • The leadership approach is top-down, and for the most part, the leadership is grade D executives; no intelligence, strategic thought, or forward-thinking. There is no accountability at senior leadership or director levels but the workers are held to an extremely high degree of accountability. • Reorg, restructure, and a new strategy every year going back to 2008. • Three HR senior “leaders” actually run the company. These “leaders” aren't the brightest or the most moral or even good functional leaders, but they decide who is cut and who stays throughout the organization's reorg /restructure every year. These HR “leaders” also haven’t a clue regarding the business, resources needed to accomplish business, or the work being done. It’s the yearly HR Reorg Clown Show featuring Dummy, Dopey, and Terminator. After every HR Reorg Clown Show, the mess only becomes bigger. • Employees aren’t valued, and company culture is dead. Employees are a disposable commodity like toothpaste and are used until they are used up. You are nothing more than your employee number and someone to cut to reduce operational expenses. • The company has become extremely woke. If you are any combinations of male, white, middle-aged, straight, or have Christian values, there is a target on your back. I am surprised no one has opened a class-action lawsuit against the company and I’m sure It’s coming. • There is no such thing as upward mobility. • Benefits are disappearing and are no longer competitive. • They are severely out of touch with their core customers.

Pros

My hiring journey began with a seamless application process, followed immediately by an incredibly organized scheduling phase. The Harley team kept me informed every step of the way. I never had to guess where I stood, as next steps were always laid out clearly. During the interview experience the entire Harley team panel was professional, welcoming, and were genuinely interested in my background, making the interview feel like a collaborative conversation. The transparency throughout the process gave me complete confidence when I ultimately accepted the job offer.

Cons

I have no cons to call out based on my experience in the interview process.
