Pros

You get free access to some of the best content on the planet. Some of your fave authors will come in, giving you a chance to meet them. You can get free books and other materials. You'll meet some really amazing co-workers (if they stay around) who really want to do good in the world. Some people have said the 4 day workweek but for some of us, that 4 days was a pipe dream. You worked on salary so they could manipulate you into working beyond that with inappropriate timelines for project executions.

Cons

Narcissism runs rampant in the company from senior leadership to the point that even all of these accurate reviews are (or will be) dismissed by them. They don't want feedback on any direction they are choosing to go (which you don't really know what that is anyway because they don't share it with employees) and they don't (and won't) tolerate disagreement with their ideas. The exterior of this company being heart-centered is what devastates you once you're on the inside. You will be verbally abused by certain members of management if you're unlucky enough to be on their team and you will most certainly be grossly underpaid for all that you do. If you ask for a raise, it will be postponed and never fully realized. Your bonus is beyond laughable, if you're able to see the hard numbers on what you've helped the company earn. You will be put on ridiculous deadlines due to inept people who cannot project manage to the point that some people miss having days off or "have to" work on holidays. You will get shocked to hear certain members of management make fun of authors or certain material in meetings. It's cringe-worthy and makes you question why they chose to work there at all. You will have no mobility upward or even sideways in this company. Once you're hired at your role, that's it. (caveat: they are equally notorious for hiring people in one role and then putting them into another one they don't really want) You feel like complaining about valid issues? Don't. You cannot trust your manager and you most certainly cannot trust the HR person who has an inappropriate relationship with management. (translation, they care more about staying friends with management than your best interest or the company's). If you're sensitive, get ready to sit in an environment of negativity and fear that will cripple your well being. It's highly likely you will get pushed to tears at some point and your personal life will suffer from the heaviness of working in this toxic environment. The firings are frequent and sometimes questionable. Know, those who can leave (or have had enough), will leave - so like in Game of Thrones, you can get attached to no one. If you love esoterics, personal development or anything heart-centered and want to keep it that way, do not work here. Unless you just want to throw yourself into an existential crisis or have some nasty karma you need to work out. Then by all means, descend into Dante's inferno.

Pros

Tons of incentives, including lifetime free access to digital and audio books, workshops and printed books. They provide plenty of education and resources to improve your life and maintain a positive mental state. Monday through Thursday work schedule, flexible hours, very respectful of personal time.

Cons

I would have loved to have been offered a permanent position beyond the three month contract. Imbalanced work load and expectations on employees when management would state they were bored watching the paint dry on their walls and consistently disrupt my workflow to chat on zoom stopping my productivity.
