Pros

OTHER SALES ASSOCIATES TURNED FRIENDS

Cons

Ive worked in sales and sales management for over 40 years-i never treated PEOPLE like i was treated by this manager. from the second week of my almost 3 years of hertz employment he found it funny and to his necessity to berate and belittle me not only in private but out in the open in front of the staff and other sales representatives. I have a mental issue which causes me to forget...one day this mgr called me into his office and was showing me something with AI, he was having trouble remembering how to do what he wanted to show me and he made the comment "oh Im having a mental issue day just like you" there are numerous examples, the most horrific thing he does is to almost on a daily basis to threaten our jobs-out of the blue he would take the lead system away from us, this is just the mgr-HERTZ CAR SALES is run by a bunch of bean counters who know nothing about the car sales industry-changing of policy by store mgr what seems like every week, makes it impossible to find and be consistent in how they run these offices where mediocrity is the accepted norm, I was the number one representative almost every week since I started to work at HERTZ . Working for hertz was an experience i wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

Pros

Great place to work in tandem with other professionals in your trade, always had a feeling of "family" working alongside my peers. We come together when times are tough, this is very rewarding,

Cons

The current economic and geopolitical spectrum have been proving a challenge to this industry as a whole, thankfully we are a resilient outfit with the best people at the helm.

Pros

It is a decent place to work with a steady environment and meaningful day-to-day responsibilities. Overall, it's not a bad company to be a part of if you are looking for stability and purpose in your tasks.

Cons

The internal culture is highly political, and professional advancement often depends more on favoritism than merit. You frequently have to play corporate games and kiss up to management just to get ahead or be noticed.
